Now, Google offers a handwriting service of their own which enhances web search functionality for smartphones, tablets and other touch screen devices.

The small screens on smartphones makes typing on these devices a bit difficult in some cases, particularly when using a smartphone in portrait mode. Additionally, there are even some tablets on the market that don’t have the best on-screen keyboards or typing interfaces. Many people likely use Google.com quite often to perform searches on the go, but it can be a bit of a pain to perform a search, even more so a quick – in a hurry – search, from a mobile device. Google’s new Handwrite feature aims to eliminate this problem and add yet another way to search Google. You don’t need an Android phone to use Google Handwrite, as it is also supported on other popular touch screen phones including the iPhone. To get started, simply launch the web browser on your smartphone or tablet and navigate to Google.com. From the Google homepage, you will be presented with of course the basic Google logo and search box. Scroll down the page on your smartphone or tablet until you see the Settings link. Click Settings, which will bring you to the following Search settings page: Scroll down until you see the Handwrite option. Tap to select the Enable option. Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Save button. With Google Handwrite enabled, you can now very simply write or draw any text or words that you would like to search for. From there, Google will automatically enter/input the characters into the search box for you. That’s basically all there is to it. You can learn more about the Google Handwrite function prior to enabling it by visiting their YouTube Channel. Thank you for stopping by the site for today’s post. Although very simple, the information featured in this article provides you with yet another way to use Google Search, and even practice your mobile penmanship.
